WHAT'S IT ABOUT?

A guy, a girl, and the blender that loves them. As per the creator: "It’s a little blue, it’s a little crude. It’s also crudely drawn and blue in colour." Balls is a mental patient and Mustard is his nurse as well as his on again, off again love interest. Balls talks to blenders and one, Blendy, is his best friend. There is also a doctor, an evil general and other characters that round out this lively cast.

WHO'S RESPONSIBLE?

HOW OFTEN DOES IT GO?

Evidently every Tuesday and Thursday but that doesn't seem to be the case. But don't worry, there is a ton of content that will keep you occupied while you catch up.

WHAT'S GOOD?

Luke McKay keeps the blue lines in his work. Originally this was for expediency, but then it became a style. McKay is an excellent artist with tight fundamentals and it shows in the work. The fact that this comic is it black, white and blue (with other colours now and then) makes the style standout. It's also really funny and edgy without being too overt. The character premise is pretty hilarious and it's nice that each comic has a contained gag while still having an overarching story line.

The comic is also organized according to story themes which is very handy.

WHAT'S NOT SO GOOD (IN YOUR OPINION ONLY OF COURSE)?

At first glance, the story can be sort of confusing because a lot of it is told in a non-linear fashion. Especially if you start from the beginning. Organizing it in stories does help.
