Self-reflection is a craft that is difficult to practice, let alone understand the point of. For we think that we know best who we are. Yet time and time again it becomes evident, that this is simply not the case. We are terrible at knowing ourselves, and we must always constantly strive to shine a light on our reflections.

We all long for warmth, to have it wrap around us like a cozy blanket would. Though it is a wonder if we are all longing for it, who's going to be the one to actually give it out? That's a part of the equation that is less common. Giving warmth instead of receiving. Perhaps we can start to change that.

We seem to try to seek joy from a grandeur perspective. Big gestures, exciting events, amazing adventures, when really, we can get all the joy we want from rather mundane and simple things. Because it is around our own lives we can find pieces of us that complete ourselves.
